SL: December

Taken on the Bridge under my treehouses on Sentience

The whole month of December made me realise how lucky I am to have such good SL girlfriends. These ladies here make a sister a sissa, and we have each other’s backs. Lucky chair stalking, standing in, keep spirits up and keeping it real. I love my SL sissas…. December brought dramatic changes in my Second Life. I became one third owner of Sentience, the sim where I have maintained land for going on two years.

She's A Ring Master

Taken @ Home On Sentience

I adore this outfit. I discovered both the dress's designer and the hat designer through my girl Monrocie. The dress is by Little Fish, the hat by Chigadee London

I must confess, I had no idea who Chris Brown was prior to him coming to Barbados last year and participating in Kevin Hind’s much talked about ‘keeping it real’ session last year Jan. I saw his five minutes at the beginning of Stomp The Yard, but had no clue who he was. I can’t tell you I have seen a single music video of his, and to be honest I don’t listen to Rhianna either. However, as someone with Barbadian heritage, I have loosely followed Rhianna’s career, accompanied with healthy do ... Read more

FastMac, a well-known Apple resellers, just released a collection of limited edition t-shirts to celebrate Apple's 25th anniversary; and they totally rock. Using classic Apple iconography the t-shirts are reasonably priced, and good quality. Even if like me you live in a relative Mac Lover's desert, and the joke will largely be lost on the population, these designs are delightful.Although the Anniversary shirts only number three, there are some other designs available as well. My current favourites ar ... Read more

As I type, the little boy who was made in South London is clambering across the back of my chair, and talking into my ear and nuzzling my neck. Off to find more mischief... As I look at the photo above, taken not far from where I first stayed when I moved to England -- North Greenwich -- my heart aches for the beautiful city I loved living in. I LOVED London. I loved everything about it, even the grind and the harsh reality of it, I loved my life there. In London, I was more me than I have ever been, and e ... Read more

Great review over at The Guardian, and I loved the questions at the end. My answer to the last he asked: To me it looked like Gaeta was moving towards how Anakin Skywalker was at the end of Attack of the Clones, with his own cybernetic arm. I knew then he had begun to cross over, and take on Vader's mantle. More to the point, I now find Gaeta repugnant, and that's how I felt about Anakin's character by then as well (but how much that has to do with Hayden Christiansen's abominable acting skills, or the char ... Susan Merrit posted an excerpt from my 25 Things, part of that Facebook Meme that is making the rounds. She picked 25 people who had written out the meme, and the excerpted one of their things. I actually found out she had visited from that handy little MyBlogLog widget, and was pleasantly surprised to find her post. (Now if I could only get MyBlogLog to update my feed, that would be cool beans!) What was interesting was the one that jumped out and grabbed her was this little pearl: "My father was a form ...
